Following his praised album debut “What If We Don’t Exist?” (2018), which earned him a comparison with David Bowie’s Low album from a US blogger, and last year’s European-wide indie hit “Locked In” (2020) together with Irish ex-Archive frontman Craig Walker, multi-instrumentalist and electronic music artist Peter Zirbs kicks off this summer with another special collaboration. He is also fulfilling a long-held wish – to collaborate with a French-speaking artist.
Together with French singer and songwriter Christelle Constantin, he will release “Ideal” on June 25 – an electronic/new wave-tinged lead single to a new, powerful, song-driven EP to be released in the autumn of 2021.
The French singer and songwriter, who also lived and made music in London for years, mixes these two linguistic influences for “Ideal” – fitting for the theme in a globalized and digital world. Rather coincidentally, the word “Ideal” is spelled the same in several languages.
